Marshall Point Boathouse
This painting is also the result of the trip along the coast of Maine that my late wife Deb and I took several years ago. (See “The Light Keeper’s House at Marshall Point” for the full story). The boathouse was actually connected to the light keeper’s house, but I knew that by itself it might make an interesting painting, especially with the sailboats in the St George River behind it. Once again, the deep blue of the water and the crystal blue sky made it all come together.
